Ginger the magic spice in ayurveda.

Ayurveda is all about using natural ingredients to heal and help our bodies.

Ginger has  always been a vital part of the Indian households and not just because of its rich flavor but because of its multiple medical benefits.

Adding ginger to your daily diet (especially in winters) can help you in more than one way. Ginger is also a spice rich with antioxidants which helps you keep your body healthy overall.

Ginger has properties that help in balancing one's vata-kapha dosha which helps in reducing symptoms of cold, cough and body ache. It also acts as a digestive agent and helps in increasing metabolism. It is very effective in treating symptoms of nausea when taken with hot water.

Ginger (Adhrak) as a spice is so versatile, one can add it to their diet in so many delicious ways. It can be taken with your morning tea. Other fruit juices can be mixed with ginger juice to tone down the strong flavour and make it easier for consumption especially for kids. Adding it to your daily meals will not only make them healthier but more flavour full.

How do you like to take your ginger in your diet?
