You can have three meals a day, adding regular and refuelling food to the body is recommended.
Eating light dinner, preferably before 7 p.m. is recommended. If you eat dinner early, it gives your stomach a chance to empty and detoxify itself naturally.
Eating a Kapha pacifying diet is recommended in case of kapha imbalance.
Some herbs and herbal remedies for weight loss are given below-
1. Triphala- This is a combination of three different fruits, commonly available in India. Amalaki (Indian Gooseberry), Bibhitaki (Terminalia Billerica), and Haritaki (Terminalia Chebula) are three fruits which combine to form Triphala. Eating Triphala has proven to reduce blood sugar level and help in type 2 diabetes disease and leads to a greater weight loss.
2. Guggul- Dried resin of the Mukul myrrh tree is called Guggul.
3. Warm Lemon Water- Lemon has always been included in the tips when asked for losing weight. Drinking hot lemon water on an empty stomach in the morning has proven effective for weight loss. The pectin fibres present in lemon help in cutting fat and reducing blood sugar level. It also leads to a healthy and fast metabolism which works for an entire day.
