What's Your Dosha- Let's Identify our Ayurvedic Dosha

Three Doshas in Ayurveda are Pitta, Vata, and Kapha. Everyone has a unique combination of these three doshas that are constant and give an overview of your health in general. Once you identify your unique combination of Doshas you get a clearer understanding of your strengths and weaknesses.

This combination could lead to the dominance of a single dosha that is prevalent for yourself.

Vata dosha is associated with wind and leads to the energy and movement of the body. People with this Dosha can feel cold, be thin, have a chaotic thought process, and have dry skin. If one experiences an imbalance in Vata Dosha can lead to anxiety, fear, and constipation.

Pitta dosha is associated with fire which takes care of metabolism and digestive systems. People with pitta dosha have medium build, acne-prone skin, and often feel cold. They tend to be busy, high achieving, and keep moving. Imbalance in Pitta Dosha could lead to anger issues, rashes, skin irritation, and feeling of exertion.

Kapha dosha is associated with water and earth. It maintains the immune system and water in the body. People with dominant Kapha Dosha are calm, friendly, forgiving, and grounded. But the imbalance in Kapha Dosha can lead to anger, frustration, jealousy, possessiveness, and weight gain.
