Yoga is a workout which helps your core muscles, flexibility, breathing and correcting posture, all of which are necessary for a healthy back. So, we decided to give some easy, starting-level Yoga Asanas
to help ease back problems.
1) Bitilasana/ Marjaryasana (Cat- Cow Posture)
This asana helps you stretch your back and mobilizes your spine. It also helps to relieve back pain and tension from your lower back. It can also help you correct your posture, while familiarizing with what neutral spine position is, not too arched or rounded.
2) Balasana ( Child’s Pose)
This pose is one of the most peaceful resting poses. However, this is not just a calming pose but also gives our hips and back a great stretch. It takes pressure off our lower back, while elongating as well as aligning the spine. It relieves stress and fatigue from our body.
3) Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward-facing dog posture)
This pose helps you in strengthening and elongating your back. Sometimes we feel back ache because our thigh muscles are tensed up and need some stretch. So, this pose also helps you stretch your hamstrings and give your spine some rest.
